Barista Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our team at Café Dulce in Augusta. This is a full-time position offering an estimated salary of $30,000 - $40,000 per year.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty beverages, baked goods, and specialty items to patrons. You will also greet customers, prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a related field, preferably with a few months to one year of experience. Additionally, they should possess social perceptiveness, coordination, active listening, and service orientation skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares and serves specialty beverages, baked goods, and specialty items to patrons.
• Greets customers and provides excellent customer service.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, equipment, and service and seating areas.
• Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Describes menu items to customers or suggests products that might appeal to them.
• Receives and processes customer payments.
• Serves prepared foods, such as breakfast sandwiches.
• Stocks customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
