Job Summary:

This Surgical Technologist position is located in the Operating Room at CCMC Camden Clark Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions:

This position is located in a hospital setting and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow infection control protocols.
