**Project Director - Computer Specialist (Software)**
The Department of Social Services (DSS) is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the development of innovative technology solutions. As a key member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex software applications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze procedures, and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure business solutions meet the needs of DSS.
- Develop and implement technical and administrative recommendations to inform executive management.
- Ensure the integrity and efficiency of all DSS solutions.
**Requirements:**
- Baccalaureate degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of full-time software experience, including one year in a project leader capacity.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of DSS systems and ability to develop cross-platform solutions.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with SQL Server Database Development and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Business & Functional analytics and large-scale Client Server & Web applications.
- Proficiency in Net, C# .Net, .Net Core, COM Objects, and Angular Technologies.
