Position Overview: A healthcare provider in California is in search of a dedicated Advanced Practice Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, cooperative, and excel in a multidisciplinary team setting. This clinic operates in a dynamic atmosphere where practitioners are accountable for medical services in a specialized facility.
Qualifications Required:
- California medical license as a Nurse Practitioner
- California DEA certificate prior to commencement
- Board certification
- CPR certification
- Proven experience in community health settings and/or Managed Care Systems
- Experience with geriatric patients
- Minimum of 2 years of practice experience
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose a range of conditions and injuries in elderly patients
- Conduct therapeutic procedures, including preventive care and follow-up
- Facilitate referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
- Review charts and document all patient interactions efficiently in accordance with organizational policies and standards
- Oversee the preparation of reports and documentation, including medical records, as mandated by the clinic and regulatory bodies
- Supervise nursing staff and assistants in examination rooms and may act as a mentor for team members
