Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Lake Health District. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients with physical disabilities and rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living and work activities under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Help patients perform exercises as specified in a treatment plan and teach them to use equipment that makes activities easier.
  • Work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy.
  • Current license from the State of Oregon.
  • Current valid Oregon driver's license.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desired experience in occupational therapy or a related field.
