CentraCare is seeking a skilled Primary Care Psychologist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality outpatient assessment and intervention services to patients and families with behavioral health and medical needs.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with CentraCare's Family Medicine clinics to provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals.
- Work closely with medical providers to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication.
- Provide brief intervention services in a flexible format, emphasizing orientations such as Motivational Interviewing, Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Assist in staff development through consultation, education, and supervision, as well as contribute to program development when requested.
- Support Family Medicine resident physicians in their training.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required.
- Minimum of one-year experience in outpatient assessment, medical knowledge, crisis intervention skills, psychotherapy, and teamwork.
- Completion of post-doc training year prior to start date preferred.
- Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as Licensed Psychologist (LP) required.
