Job Description: The successful candidate will assist the curator in researching and organizing temporary exhibitions in the museum's List Projects series, contributing to major exhibitions in the main galleries, and facilitating communication with artists, galleries, lenders, and other institutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and writing interpretive texts to facilitate communication and engagement
- Coordinating with artists, galleries, and lenders to manage exhibition logistics
- Assisting in the development and implementation of exhibition concepts and themes
Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of curatorial work experience or related experience. You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as knowledge of contemporary art. An M.A. in art history, curatorial studies, or a related field is preferred.
Estimated Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
