Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. in Richmond, Virginia.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a home healthcare setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • At least one year of experience in a home healthcare or skilled nursing facility setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
