About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist - Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Concentra Career Choice. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for conducting routine x-ray and medical procedures, as well as providing medical support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • X-Ray Technician Duties:
    • Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout.
    • Operate radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images, adhering to established protocols.
    • Implement radiation safety measures and utilize protective devices for patients and team members.
    • Maintain functionality of radiologic equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
    • Ensure adherence to Radiology workflows, accurate documentation, and proper equipment maintenance.
    • Maintains MRI, CT, Radiologic Technology equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of exam rooms.
  • Medical Support Specialist Duties:
    • Conduct DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
    • Perform rapid screening tests for various conditions.
    • Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
    • Perform routine medical procedures and triage emergent patients.
    • Dispense medications, apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
    • Perform clerical tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a program at an accredited school of Limited Scope Technician, accompanied by state-required certification.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid.
  • Job-Related Experience: Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare and/or customer service-related experience.
