Position Overview: The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager is accountable for the formulation, coordination, and execution of the project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan, ensuring thorough compliance with contractual obligations. This role encompasses the management, oversight, and administration of the implementation of the QA/QC Plan and associated personnel.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Project Manager or Project Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan in collaboration with the project team, owner/architect team, and contractual documents.
  • Ensure that a sufficient number of qualified personnel are designated to implement the plan effectively.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to guarantee compliance.
  • Lead and mentor QA/QC personnel.
  • Uphold ethical standards and compliance regulations.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of contractual documents.
  • Integrate QA/QC procedures with the project safety plan.
  • Continuously enhance strategies for documenting compliance.
  • Implement the QA/QC Plan by engaging all project stakeholders.
  • Conduct testing and inspections, analyze results, and report findings.
  • Oversee project close-out processes and quality reporting.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of five years of experience in the construction sector. Profound knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and project management software is essential. Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities are required.

Physical Requirements: The employee must possess the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and have specific visual abilities.

Work Environment: The role involves working on-site at construction locations, which may expose the employee to various environmental conditions and noise levels.
