Job Summary

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as a phlebotomist collecting blood samples from patients. You will provide exceptional customer service and be responsible for performing skilled specimen collections.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping people. As a phlebotomist at Labcorp, you will play a critical role in providing vital information that helps our clients and patients understand their health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
  • Performing data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Preparing all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintaining patient and specimen information logs.
  • Providing superior customer service to all patients.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Location: Slidell, LA. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
