Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established safety protocols specific to Caleb Brett.
  • Conduct various measurements including volume and temperature, and sample materials in transit.
  • Perform visual inspections on equipment and conveyances such as lines, pumps, and tanks.
  • Execute custody transfer surveys for commodities during loading and unloading processes.
  • Calibrate and verify equipment functionality regularly.
  • Document and communicate findings accurately in required formats.
  • Assist and learn from senior inspectors on-site.
  • Coordinate with terminal and transport personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Qualifications for Success
  • Basic mathematical skills and comfort in an automated work setting.
  • Willingness to work on-call as needed.
  • Ability to work at heights without fear.
  • Experience with barges and vessels is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • IFIA certification is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable driving record is essential.
  • Must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Exhibit attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and climbing.
