Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Riverside Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, working under the direction of our leadership team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, implement, and evaluate treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Utilize current evidence-based respiratory care practices to provide patient care.
  • Participate in meetings and projects to improve respiratory care services.
  • Ensure safe practices and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and American Association of Respiratory Care standards.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (required) or Bachelors Degree (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (preferred).
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within 1 year.
