Position Overview

The Business Planning Specialist II is responsible for facilitating monthly reporting and aiding in the development of the center's strategic business plan. This role involves creating schedules, achieving key milestones, and providing guidance and feedback to relevant areas within the center. Collaboration within the PSCC and with other divisions is essential.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee monthly reporting for designated areas across the Division, Business Unit, and Center.

• Assist in the strategic development and execution of the PSCC Business Plan.

• Contribute to the documentation and management of the PSCC Business Plan with all relevant stakeholders.

• Follow up with division and department leaders to ensure timely completion of business plan requirements.

• Act as the subject matter expert for theme development and reporting within the division.

• Provide consultation on business plan development and support Business Unit areas as necessary.

• Facilitate collaborative events and strategic partnerships to enhance the business planning process.

• Assist in the development, management, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators and Key Control Points for PSCC.

• Guide PSCC associates in business plan development to enhance their knowledge and skills in management and reporting.

• Manage and organize SharePoint for the team site.

• Support the creation of center documentation for reporting purposes.

• Execute additional tasks related to business planning activities and events within the center.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in one of the following fields:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Procurement
  • Business Management

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Purchasing, or equivalent experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Analytical skills to identify trends

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work environment
  • Inter-facility travel may be required
  • Ability to work overtime, approximately 3-5 hours per week.
