">This is a 13-week contract position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, with an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 based on location and experience. The successful candidate will work primarily within the operating suite, preparing patients, handling instruments and equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting with surgeries. Pre- and post-op education and moral support to patients and their families are also key aspects of this role.
">Responsibilities
">- Prepare patients for open-heart surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
- Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment
- Monitor patient status during surgery, responding promptly to any changes or complications
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during open-heart surgeries
- Provide pre- and post-operative education and emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements
">To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
">- A minimum of one year's recent acute care experience in CVOR or a related specialty
- An active Registered Nurse (RN) license
