Job Summary

The Tatitlek Management Services, Inc. (TMSI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee the security operations for the DEA Protective Security Services site at El Paso, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security, exercising judgment and discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of security guards to ensure effective security operations
  • Enforce regulations and procedures to prevent breaches of security
  • Exercise judgment and discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless security operations
Requirements
  • Must be a US citizen and possess/maintain a SECRET clearance
  • Must be a Level III commissioned security officer
  • Must have completed the Basic DHS/FPS SGIM/SMART Book Training course
  • Associates degree or three years of increasingly responsible administrative experience may be substituted for education
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures
  • Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with databases
  • Knowledge of basic accounting skills helpful
Working Conditions

Field conditions prevail: Area is subject to blowing dust and sand with temperatures ranging from 10(-) degrees F in the winter to degrees F in the summer. Routinely work 10(+) hours per day.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Security Guards

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references, and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
