Substitute Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team at ChildCareGroup in Corsicana, TX. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, while also supporting the regular teaching staff.

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans and activities for children, aligned with our curriculum and standards.
• Establish a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Assist with classroom management, including setting up learning centers and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain accurate records of child progress.
• Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition of daily activities and routines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working with young children, with a preference for one year or more.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member, with good communication and organizational skills.
