Job Title: Pre-Finish Supervisor

NW Employment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Finish Supervisor to join our team at a local Industrial Wood Manufacturing company in the Canby area.

Job Summary:

The Pre-Finish Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and optimizing workflow to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize workflow and create a value-added environment for internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all orders are completed 100% through the cell, completing remakes, and reporting to the Production Supervisor.
  • Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and guide employees in their daily work, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to quality standards.
  • Provide input on job evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of commercial wood door production.
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools used in production.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
