Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 7a-5:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week
  • Duration: 14 weeks
Responsibilities

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans using prescribed techniques, reviewing requisitions for completeness, and adjusting equipment to produce optimal radiographic exposure. You will also utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain diagnostic images, select appropriate protocols for each scan, and ensure proper levels of density and contrast are utilized.

You will perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize sites of pathological processes, complete examinations in a timely manner, and document administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Additionally, you will perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience
  • Required experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
  • Preferred experience in: aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, PET/CT
  • Certifications: BLS, AART, AART advanced certificate
