Our work involves using advanced technologies like electromagnetic equipment and ground penetrating radar to locate underground utilities.

As a Senior Utility Detection Specialist, you will play a key role in our team's success by performing vacuum truck operations, utility mark out, and surveying activities with high accuracy and efficiency.

You will be responsible for documenting your work using sketches, photos, spreadsheets, and written reports.

  • You will work under limited supervision, receiving guidance on complex assignments and executing them independently.
  • Assist in marketing our firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Operate vacuum trucks and related equipment, multi-frequency electromagnetic equipment, and perform SUE survey field work.
  • Prepare daily paperwork, train junior staff, and use and interpret design plans and record drawings.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complete projects with minimal supervision.

This role involves working in partly indoor and primarily outdoor environments, with frequent use of standard office equipment and data collection tools.

Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds may be required.

**Key Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with relevant experience considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of all phases of SUE field operations.
  • Five or more years of experience as SUE Technician I/II or related experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
