Hunter Truck is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engines and be able to diagnose and repair complex issues. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:- Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective repairs
- Communicate with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer technical bulletins and industry developments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
- Experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
