The Role

As a Dialysis Technician - Patient Care Specialist, you will work closely with our experienced nurses and doctors to provide individualized patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Education: Providing patients with comprehensive information about their treatment options, dialysis procedures, and overall care.">
• Treatment Administration: Assisting with the setup and operation of dialysis machines, as well as administering medications and fluids as prescribed by medical staff.">
• Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitoring patients' vital signs, responding to any changes or concerns, and reporting observations to nursing staff.">
• Clinical Support: Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives.">
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments, progress notes, and lab results.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Educational Background: Completion of a recognized training program in dialysis technology or a related field, or relevant experience in a healthcare setting.">
• Certifications and Licenses: Current certification as a Dialysis Technician or equivalent, as well as any required state-specific licenses or certifications.">
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.">
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in dialysis machine operation, patient data management systems, and other relevant software applications.">

Salary Information
