We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Port Ludlow Associates LLC. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
  • Follow established standards for portion control and consistency in preparing beverages.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Take orders, suggest drink options, and make recommendations to guests.
  • Communicate with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring it is stocked at the beginning of each shift and remains stocked throughout.
  • Ensure all banquet bars are preset for events.
  • Adhere to all relevant alcohol service regulations and policies to promote responsible drinking and ensure legal compliance.
  • Complete regular bar inventories, monitoring stock levels, replenishing supplies, and recording wastage.
  • Assist with training new front of house staff, sharing expertise and providing guidance to maintain consistent service quality.

Requirements:

  • Current food handler's permit and liquor permits or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • At least 2 years prior bartending experience in a similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and mixology trends.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team and work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to be on feet for long periods, go up and down stairs, walk, bend, reach, stoop, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
