The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. This RN is responsible for leading and supervising a team of nurses, ensuring safe and effective care is provided to all assigned patients.
Responsibilities- Assess patient/family health problems and resources, and develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to all assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care, ensuring adherence to unit and treatment protocols.
- Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatments ordered for patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Current Louisiana RN License
- Emergency Department or ICU Training required
- Minimum of two years of nursing practice, including clinical and leadership experience
- Knowledgeable of TJC standards
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- De-Escalation Certification
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty, preferred
7pm-7am
