Position Overview:

The Academic Mentor plays a crucial role in guiding students in areas such as software development, design, business strategies, and project oversight. The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of the iOS ecosystem, ideally as a graduate from the Apple Developer Academy. Significant industry experience in application development is highly regarded. Candidates must demonstrate experience in instructing individuals from varied backgrounds, an openness to innovative teaching methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively to enhance educational practices and technical solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least two years of post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience

  • Design role prerequisites: Understanding of UX/UI principles, knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and relevant design experience
