About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Guidehouse. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), and data as a service (DaaS).
  • Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
  • Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments.
  • Develop and implement cloud applications, migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud, and manage policies for the use of cloud services.
  • Work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.
Requirements
  • Active and maintained Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience related to Cloud Developer or DevSecOps and/or Systems Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintaining the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, especially utilizing HBase, MapReduce, and Spark.
  • ETL processes utilizing Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow.
  • AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager.
  • Experience in supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions.
