Job Title: Delivery Driver

QED INC is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products and materials to customer job sites and sites of business while adhering to all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive box truck, flatbed truck, or pickup truck over various routes to deliver products or materials.
  • Make deliveries to customer job sites or sites of business while adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Load and unload materials, make deliveries, and return undelivered material to the warehouse.
  • Check quantities of goods received and obtain proper signatures for deliveries.
  • Assist with the scheduling, loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
  • Be responsible for general care and maintenance of the vehicle assigned to driver.
  • Check items assembled to make certain the proper items are being delivered as per the sales ticket.
Requirements:
  • Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Class A license and acceptable MVR printout.
  • Knowledge of branch product lines, shipping and receiving practices, and Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team player.
