Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Staffing Coordinator to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating all functions of scheduling and staffing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain program and/or unit/department schedules, ensuring all changes are in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Function as a resource to management team for efficient use of staffing/scheduling system.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and managers, and communicate issues to leadership as necessary.
  • May coordinate education schedules and complete payroll as assigned, ensuring accurate payroll function for caregivers.
  • Participate in analyzing and interpreting data to ensure optimal staffing in the unit/department.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Health/Hospice or equivalent staffing and scheduling experience in another healthcare area.
  • Strong customer service/caregiver relations skills and proficient computer/keyboarding skills, including MS Office applications and other applicable software.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in an environment with multiple interruptions and successful follow through.
