Key Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Sonographer Specialist performs high-quality ultrasound procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, positioning equipment, and ensuring optimal operational capabilities of equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification in one of the following areas: ARRT-BS Breast Sonography, ARRT-S Sonography, Musculoskeletal Sonography, Reg Diag Med Sono-Abdomen, Reg Diag Med Sono-Breast, Reg Diag Med Sono-OB/GYN, Registered Vascular Sonographe, or Registered Vascular Tech.
