We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at AHMC Seton Medical Center in Daly City, CA. As an LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, adhering to the standards of care at AHMC Seton Medical Center and the LVN Nurse Practice Act.
- Assess and document patients' initial condition and ongoing changes, participating in patient interventions, plans for care, and evaluation of care under the direction of an RN.
- Administer and monitor the effects of medications as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with practice at Seton Medical Center.
- Perform venipuncture and other skills and procedures taught in an accredited program of vocational nursing.
- Participate in unit-based quality assurance activities and demonstrate a commitment to professional self-development.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Licensed Vocational Nursing.
- Current California licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support.
- Ability to understand and follow all policies, procedures, guidelines, rules, and regulations of Nursing Service, AHMC Seton Medical Center.
