Shift:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver safe and effective nursing care to a designated group of patients.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance to other staff members and take on relief charge duties as assigned.
  • Role Model: Promote a positive work environment and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Patient Care Assignments: You may work with patients across various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Care Planning:
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, considering age-specific needs, discharge planning, and patient/family education.

Medical Records:
Ensure that patient medical records are complete and accurate.

Patient Safety:
- Follow all patient safety policies and procedures.
- Actively seek opportunities to enhance patient safety and report any concerns or environmental risks promptly.
- Encourage patient engagement in their care by fostering open communication.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- CPR for Healthcare Providers/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Familiarity with handling chemicals and biohazardous materials, with appropriate PPE required.
