Job Summary

We are seeking a Park Ranger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the management and maintenance of national parks and recreational areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the performance of day-to-day operations at visitor centers and customer use areas.
  • Perform duties such as facility maintenance, litter removal, and routine trail maintenance.
  • Assist in the evaluation of visitor use patterns and preparation of recreation sites.
  • Monitor conditions of sites and natural and cultural resources.
  • Participate in educational programs and events.
  • Interact with the public to provide information and conduct permit compliance and safety inspections.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Working Conditions

The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions. The position may require walking on uneven terrain and working at heights.
