Welding Program Manager

The Welding Program Manager will oversee the development and implementation of welding procedures using ASME & Mil standards. This role requires a strong understanding of welding processes, including SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and PTAW, as well as experience with material combinations, preheat requirements, and visual weld inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedules welding workflow and plans, organizes, and develops the technical aspects of all types of welding procedures
Familiar with material combinations, preheat requirements, PWHT, and visual weld inspections
Work directly with customers and engineers to develop and implement welding processes
Establishes and documents welding processes in accordance with national and military standards and specifications
Develops, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of improved/enhanced processes, techniques, and safety procedures for all welding performed within the company
Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards
CWI a plus
Work Environment:
This is a hands-on position that requires working in an office environment and on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast-paced with a strong commitment to accountability.
