Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - Trauma Physiatry

OU Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Trauma Physiatry team. As an APP, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dual role of outpatient and/or inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, and coordinate care for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.
  • Work with administrative, nursing, physician, and university faculty to ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
  • Provide care within your scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, and institutional policy and practice agreements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing (MSN) or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in designated specialty preferred.
  • Must have prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.
  • Active RN and APNP license in State of Oklahoma (Nurse Practitioner) or Active PA license in State of Oklahoma (Physician Assistant).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • CPR certification and Advanced Life Support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
