Assembly Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Airline Hydraulics. The successful candidate will assemble power distribution equipment, using mechanical tasks and necessary tools to complete the assembly project. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble major structures and subassemblies.
• Entails mechanical tasks using necessary tools and equipment to complete the assembly project.
• Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures.
• Operate a forklift and overhead cranes with training provided.
• Load/unload trucks and assist with packaging finished goods as needed.
• Perform other tasks as required to complete an assembly project.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and precise attention to detail are required.
• Must observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized fashion.
• Basic computer skills, capable of working with Microsoft Office and custom applications used for assembly.
• Strong time management and organization skills, able to work independently and complete assignments within deadlines.
• May need to move to other departments based on demand shifts, with cross-training provided.
• Must be able to take tasks from Team Lead as directed.

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
