Position Overview: UPMC seeks an experienced Registered Dietitian-Bariatrics to join our team in a $68,200 - $100,400 annual salary position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition-related plans of care for patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
  • Assess patient nutritional needs and develop personalized plans of care.
  • Implement and evaluate nutrition-focused physical assessments and interventions.
  • Mentor and train dietetic students and support personnel.
  • Lead department initiatives and promote evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrate professional writing skills in preparing materials and presentations.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics with 2 years' clinical experience or master's degree in nutrition and dietetics with 1 year's experience, both with registration as a licensed dietitian.

Licensure and Certifications: Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance, and registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian (LDN).
