Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Roll Off Driver to join our team. As a Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport waste and construction debris to disposal sites. This role requires excellent driving skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Deliver and remove roll-off containers to/from customer sites, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and customer interactions.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Excellent driving skills and physical stamina.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to high traffic conditions and tight driving areas.
  • Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be available for 24-hour emergency calls.
