Unlock Your Potential as a Technician/Specialist Intern
This internship is a unique opportunity for active-duty US Military Service members to gain hands-on experience in the field of smart buildings and infrastructure. As a Technician/Specialist Intern, you will work closely with our team to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic control systems, install new equipment, and commission systems in large commercial buildings.
About Our Smart Buildings
Our smart buildings are designed to enhance the experience of those who interact with them. They learn from experience and real-time input, using intelligent control, security, and energy management systems to create efficient, safe, responsive, and responsible environments. As a Technician/Specialist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including building automation, fire/life safety, and security systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic control systems
- Install new equipment and commission systems
- Work with our internal engineering and management team to resolve discrepancies and issues
- Interface with customers to complete service work documentation and provide training instructions
Qualifications
- U.S. Military experience as an E4 or above
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; Associates degree preferred
- Electro-mechanical aptitude/knowledge/skills
- Knowledge of building automation controls, fire/life safety, or integrated security systems preferred
