Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Float Pool Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in patient care by:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Administering medications and performing treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Providing pre- and post-operative care to patients.
- Educating patients and their families about care and treatment options.
- Facilitating discharge planning in partnership with the care team.
Experience and Education
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- An Associate Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
Required certifications include:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (to be obtained within 60 months of employment).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
