Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with operational and distribution responsibilities as they relate to pharmacy functions, including software and hardware systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the hospital's mission, personnel policies, philosophy, goals, customer service, and objectives of the Pharmacy and Orlando Health.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the general duties and processes of the Pharmacy department.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and utilize resources and departments for customer service and patient care, based on need, availability, and responsibility of resources.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate equipment required for pharmacy procedures, consistent with operating instructions, safety regulations, and policy and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Greater than one year up to four (4) years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
