Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide operational and administrative support to Nurse leadership, and collaborate with the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing practice and the nursing care delivery system.
- Staff Management: Directly supervise front-line staff, and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Quality and Safety: Support the organization in the execution of the nursing strategic plan and priorities, and participate in unit and hospital decision-making to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Serve as a role model for staff in all aspects of nursing, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical competence and leadership skills.
- Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years of Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license, Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification, ACLS certification, and CCRN certification required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and motivational skills, critical thinking, program development, and project management skills, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs.
