Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service to restaurant guests, staff, and culinary production team.
  • Take food and beverage orders and deliver prepared food promptly, checking with tables periodically to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain current and accurate information regarding menu items, including preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients, and plate presentation.
  • Suggest menu items to guests based on their expressed preferences and resolve service issues according to established guidelines.
  • Assist bus persons with bussing, cleaning, and setting tables as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of designated areas, adhering to established health and safety standards.
  • Deep clean restaurant equipment as scheduled or required.
  • Operate and maintain equipment according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Complete assigned side work as directed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with previous food server experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Knowledge of wine service, table service procedures, and table etiquette strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow all departmental and property policies and procedures.
  • Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.
