Key Responsibilities:
- Imaging Procedures: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques, to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the imaging process.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other imaging technologists and healthcare staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Certifications: Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and current state licensure required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in imaging equipment operation.
Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hours
Work Type: Full Time
