  • Performs various clinical tasks, including venipuncture, EKGs, and wound care, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assists with scribing, case management, and other procedures as needed, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient care, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or concerns.
  • Organizes and maintains a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection prevention protocols and ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Supports emergency management protocols and procedures, demonstrating a calm and effective response in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in medical terminology and venipuncture techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of patient care.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull heavy objects, and stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to use logical reasoning for problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified in AED and CPR, with a strong commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a certified medical assistant, with a proven track record of excellence in patient care and clinical coordination.

Physical and Mental Requirements: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with occasional exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull heavy objects, and stand or sit for extended periods.
