Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Glens Falls, New York.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med Surg nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in New York
- 3+ years of experience in Med Surg nursing
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts
- Flexibility to float to other Med Surg units as needed
- Peritoneal Dialysis training preferred
