As an Orthopedic Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Acute Care setting. You will be responsible for making clinical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patients' health or situations
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for individualized care plans
- Act as an advocate for patient safety
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, Multistate, or able to obtain licensure prior to start
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
- 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
