Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Loyola University Health System. As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois Board of Nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
