Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hand Surgeon to join our team of fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists. As a Hand Surgeon at Reno Orthopedic Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases, from routine hand and wrist conditions to complex upper extremity injuries and disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat hand and upper extremity conditions, including fractures, dislocations, and degenerative diseases
  • Perform surgical procedures, including arthroscopy, open reduction and internal fixation, and joint replacement
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and pain management specialists
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hand and upper extremity surgery, including new technologies and techniques

Requirements

  • Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Completion of a residency program in orthopedic surgery
  • Completion of a fellowship in hand or upper extremity surgery
  • Eligibility to obtain a medical license in the state of Nevada
  • Board certification in orthopedic surgery
