About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team of dedicated caregivers. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the MRI Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and validate patient screening safety forms
  • Educate patients on MRI procedures and ensure their comfort and safety during and after the exam
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or potential issues
  • Perform MRI procedures according to protocol and conduct daily quality assurance checks
  • Acquire and review patient questionnaires, charts, and data to determine contraindications for MRI examinations
  • Administer contrast agents and ensure proper imaging procedures
  • Process billing and transmit images via PACS
  • Assist with scheduling and instruct new hires and radiology students
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by the ARRT or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and provide excellent patient care
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
