Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to assist in planning, organizing, and directing Physical Therapy services in our Skilled Nursing Facility. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide physical therapy services to residents, including screenings, evaluations, and treatment plans.
- Assist in the selection of physical therapy techniques and media, and adapt techniques as needed.
- Monitor residents' response to intervention and consult with the Physical Therapist as necessary.
- Participate in resident, family, and staff education, and train residents and staff on the use of equipment.
- Assist with and participate in Quality Assurance Program as required.
- Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
- Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
